As Citizens Advice is a network of local advice agencies, they are uniquely placed to comment on how people are affected by changes to legislation and provision of services. They do this by gathering evidence of problems experienced by clients and identifying emerging trends and, in this way, are able to influence change.
Citizens Advice deliver high quality advice and information from over 3000 outlets across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as by telephone, via the internet www.citizensadvice.org.uk and by email and through the media. Each bureau is a member of Citizens Advice. Bureaux are supported by a central office in London, a national office in Wales, a network of field offices in England and Wales and the Northern Ireland Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux. Bureaux in Scotland belong to a separate organisation, Citizens Advice Scotland.
