Who we are

who we are

Citizens Advice Hounslow is the operational name of Hounslow Citizens Advice Bureaux Service (HCABxS).

We are a registered charity as well as a company limited by guarantee. We are governed by our ‘Memorandum and Articles of Association’ and run by a Trustee Board, which maintains and develops our services locally to meet the needs of the local community. We are also a member of our parent organisation, Citizens Advice.

Hounslow Citizens Advice is overseen by a trustee board comprising of members from the local community, who bear overall responsibility for the organisation. This responsibility is delegated to the Chief Executive Officer, who manages and oversees the day to day operations of the charity. The Hounslow Citizens Advice team comprises of sixty individuals – both paid staff and volunteers – who work together to deliver our advice and information services for the local community.

Citizens Advice Hounslow operates from two offices – one on Feltham High Street, and the other just off of Chiswick High Road. In addition to generalist and specialist advice at our Chiswick and Feltham offices, we also undertake work at different locations across the borough. Please click here for more information about our offices and outreach locations.

To find our more about what we do, please read our latest Annual Report that offer an overview of the services undertaken at Hounslow CA, as well as a breakdown of the services and work accomplished.

We hold the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) quality mark, a sign of excellence for organisations that provide advice to the public on social welfare issues.
